I come from a proud family that has been involved in public service for as long as I can remember. I want to work for you. We need to create more living wage jobs, improve our schools with quality learning environments, and make public safety and healthcare a top priority. With nearly 20 years of government experience, I know what it takes to find solutions, navigate the complicated governmental agencies, and get things done.

Education
As a graduate of the Prince Georges County Public School System: Benjamin Foulois Elementary in Morningside, Eugene Burroughs Middle School in Accokeek, and Largo Senior High School of Upper Marlboro; the grandson of a 27 year retiree of the Prince Georges County Public School System who served as a Teacher’s Assistant and Guidance Counselor; and a parent of future PGCPS students I will do everything in my power to make sure our students have the best fighting chance possible to succeed. My education priorities are to fight to close the achievement gap our kids face by directing education funding to programs that benefit our children, providing universal pre-k for our kids to get a head start on education, and to be a strong advocate for our teachers to provide the best environment for our children.
Family Rights
Family is one of the most important components of our lives. As a Board Member to Children's Rights Fund of Maryland, I have seen so many families impacted by disproportionate decisions in family legal battles. If we want to make a stronger impact on our kids, we need to fight to make sure children have equal access to both of their parents consistently. In Annapolis I champion on behalf of Maryland's children, mother's and fathers.
Better Communities
Growing up in District 25, I have been able to see some of our communities take a sharp turn for the worst. Forestville, District Heights, Suitland, Morningside, and Capitol Heights are now more distressed than they were when I was younger. Largo, Kettering, Mitchellville, and Clinton has started to see some of the same issues that once only plagued the inner beltway creep into their communities as well. It is time to put a stop to the destruction of our communities and build them back up to its rightful place in America.
Healthcare
Our residents suffer disproportionately from diabetes, heart disease, and obesity while the county suffers from a shortage of primary-care medical practices. Continuing support to the New Regional Medical Center coming to Largo will put our residents at an advantage to utilizing medical services closer to home. My goal is to work with community leaders, nonprofit organizations, and other health access organizations for improving health in Prince George’s County.
Economic Empowerment
Information is key for any business to thrive, even more so for Small Business. I have near 20 years working with the federal government in the field of procurement. After fully understanding the utilization of the federal governments business marketplace FedBizOps, I noticed the massive need in the State to follow the lead of the federal government. The State has over 60 agencies that contract out services. The State has 24 Counties or equivalents and within each of those counties there is an average of 20 agencies that also contract out to businesses. Then across the state there are a total of 157 municipal governments who each have an average of 3 departments that also contract out work. When you calculate them all together, there are roughly 1,051 agencies across the state that need services from businesses. With all of those opportunities there is no central location to find all of them, making it difficult for small businesses to compete in the marketplace with large business.
