DEADLINES: The 2025-2026 Application is now open. You must submit your application before Friday, June 13th at 11:59PM.

 

ELIGIBILE MAJORS: All majors are eligible for scholarships. Students with a “unique major” may be eligible for a scholarship to an out-of-state school, pending approval by the Maryland Higher Education Commission. Majors are considered to be unique when they are not offered at any Maryland university or college. To verify unique major status, students must complete the Unique Major Application and submit it to the Higher Education Commission with the required documentation.

 

AWARD AMOUNT: The minimum annual award is $1,000 and may be held with all State awards. The total dollar amount of all State awards may not exceed your cost of attendance as determined by your school’s financial aid office. Funds may not be available to award all eligible students. Awards are not automatically renewed. You must re-apply each year to be considered for the scholarship.

Due to the amount of scholarship requests, this is a competitive scholarship application. Your essay will be reviewed by our scholarship committee and selected for award.
